Day 11

On Sunday, we all split up in pairs to go on adventures that best fit our interests. Kay and Owen took the tube to the London Aquarium where they saw a two alligators fighting, and a wide variety of fish and other sea life. They had a lot of fun, and made it back to Regents for lunch with Emily and Sam, who had just spent the day traveling to the King's Cross Train Station in search of the renowned Platform 9 3/4 from the Harry Potter series.

Sam and Emily understood Harry's dilemma when he was searching for the platform his first year, as the platform is incredibly hard to locate, and asking for directions to "Platform 9 3/4" is a strange question to ask.
Cheryl and Nicole woke up early to catch the 10:15 train to Liverpool, England for the day to see the Beatles Museum, the Peace Monument for John Lennon and the Maritime Museum. Nicole and Cheryl are huge fans of the Beatles and Liverpool and were very excited to finally be able to see it in person. Kate and Julien spent the weekend in France visiting some of Julien's relatives and visiting tourist sites including Notre Dame, gardens, and museums. They had a peaceful and enjoyable trip together, enjoyed some French cuisine, and made it back safely. Everyone had an adventurous weekend exploring our personal interests and we are excited to plan for next weekend's excursions.
