Regents College

Regents College
For the duration of our trip, Regents College, London will be our home base. We will dorm, relax and eat many of our meals on campus.  It is beautiful, and we are all very excited to be living here.
This is an aerial view of the college.  It is very similar to Elmira in that it has gothic architecture and impecable landscaping and scenery.  Many buildings on campus are covered in vines, which gives the school charm and character.  Regent's park is easily accessible from campus and is an excellent place to relax and observe nature.
This is what our rooms look like at Regents College. We have two beds, two desk/closet units one window and wood floors. Some of us have faux fireplaces, which houses our garbage cans. Regents has a linen service so we did not have to bring our own sheets, pillows or comforters, and we can have them changed bi-weekly.
This is the view from our windows. The Regents College Campus is similar to the Elmira campus in that they take great pride in their landscaping. Ivy vines cover a large portion of the buildings on campus. Regents Park, which is owned by the royal family, is immediately behind the campus.  It has a stream, bridges, and paddleboats and has become our "scenic route" to and from the college.

This is the front entrance of Regents College that we use daily.  It is a newer building and has a very modern lobby complete with plant decorations, an oversized desk, uniform security officers, and scanners that read the barcodes on our student IDs to allow us access into and out of the building.
This is the Regents College refectory (cafeteria). We all agree that the food is absolutely delicious, and much healthier than the usual American meal. For breakfast it is buffet style with hot and cold options, and for lunch and dinner they plate our food selections for us. The food not only tastes appetizing, but it looks like the cover of a food magazine every time. We use our meal cards to pay, just like at Elmira.
