Why the UK?
"Although I planned on waiting until my sophomore year to travel abroad, I responded to a mass e-mail after Christmas break trying to get more people to sign up for the trip so I decided to go this year. I chose to go to the UK because I feel comfortable knowing the language and since we are staying in the same location, we will get to know the area. When I was in 2nd grade, my family and I spent 3 days in London. I do not remember much of that trip and I am looking forward to spending 3 weeks with an amazing group of people touring all of the UK!"

"I chose to go to the UK because it seemed like a trip that I would get to see a lot in a short period of time, the Royal Wedding took place there and it would be cool to say you've seen the places that everyone around the world saw on the T.V, and the the Olympics are going to be held there in 2012."

"Ever since I can remember I have wanted to travel to the countries of the UK. I love the architecture, the countryside, the history, the culture..pretty much everything! Not to mention, I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan, which has made me love England even more! I have never traveled overseas before and I think this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity."
