Royal Wedding

Professors Wolfe and Parkhouse called Regents College in London, England where we will be staying and tried to arrange our trip so that we would be in England for the famous Royal Wedding on April 29, 2011. The big joke in the class is that the reaction from the Regents College representative was, "typical americans." Americans are, apparently, more fascinated with the royal wedding than the people who live in London. The locals who have Friday April 29th off from work will be "spending their time at the beach and catching up on the royal wedding footage later." Our "typical American" class will be spending an extra 30 minutes in class on that Friday glued to a recording of the royal wedding Professor Wolfe will bring in for us to watch.

Kate Middleton and Prince William were married on Friday April 29th. The Queen announced that William will be appointed the new Duke of Cambridge, with Kate as his Dutchess. Congratulations to them both!
